Fisair, from Physics of the Air. The name is related to the adsorption process of our systems, with no chemical exchange or deliquescent process. As a difference with the  absorption process, this one is assuring a long product’s service life.

history

    • 1969, the company TECNISECO INGENIEROS was founded in Madrid; the founding members were the brothers José, Juan and Rafael Boeta.
    • Initially, the company was set up to sell purging equipment and steam injection humidifiers. The company also supplied steam and water filtration equipment. These units were mostly supplied to the petrochemical industry and nuclear power stations.
    • 1972, the company diversified into the air conditioning field with air dehumidifying units using dessicant rotors.
    • Industrial multinationals began to discover the huge benefits of air humidity control in their industrial processes during the nineteen sixties. A large number of companies increased the quality and efficiency of production processes by controlling the ambient humidity of the air. Quality demands for the processes of these companies made these installations a challenge. Each stage was critical: design, supply and maintenance of the humidity control systems and units; the air humidifiers and dehumidifiers. The founders of the Spanish parent group of Fisair learnt their trade through a combination of technical acumen and a flexible approach to each very different application.
    • 1975, saw the introduction of electrode-based humidifying units in the product range the company supplied.
    • Sanitation and conventional building HVAC sector technicians came to realise the importance of controlling humidity for air quality and its effects on humans spending many hours in buildings. That is when large companies in the HVAC sector with no previous experience controlling air humidity, contacted our group in order to jointly develop integrated solutions in their air-handling units.
    • 1994, the company FISAIR was founded by Boeta brothers and Pedro R. Ramos. FISAIR is set up to manufacture air conditioning equipment, in particular humidifiers, dehumidifiers, evaporative air coolers and air-to-air heat exchangers. The same year saw the company begin to expand its operations abroad with the design and production of an air dehumidifier for a gelatine drying tunnel for Taiwan, with a dry air flow of 70,000 m3/h.
    • 1994 – 1997, the first standard series of DFR dehumidifiers and HEF evaporating dehumidifiers were developed.
    • 1997, the design and production began of steam injection, generation and dispersion systems, later to be called the DIPHUSAIR series.
    • 2005, turnover from international business had surpassed domestic turnover.
    • 2013, Pedro R. Ramos left as shareholder and Boeta brothers acquired 100% of the company’s equity. A new management team took over with a change of strategy for the company: More investment on innovation, production efficiency, quality and international business.
    • 2014, the first version of the selection software Fisair Selection Tool and the DFRIGO series were launched.
    • 2015, the company achieved ISO 9001 certification.
    • 2016, the production surface area expanded by 1,250 m2, reaching a total of 4,250 m2. The new building is used for the manufacturing of dessicant rotor air dehumidifiers.
    • 2017, DFLEX series is introduced in the market. Fisair set up its subsidiary in Chile. Fisair SpA.
